Overview

The primary function of the Sales Executive is to create new system sales whereby sales consistently meet the agreed upon expected minimum monthly sales quota.

Salary Range

Incentive Based - Average Annual Income Range $40,000-$75,000

Reporting Relationship/Authority

The Sales Executive reports directly to the Branch Sales Manager. The Sales Executive is granted full authority to qualify sales opportunities and initiate the Sales Motion Process in accordance with Sales Policies and Procedures. He/She has the authority to set the price of their sale as long as the minimum markup has been met. He/She has the authority to establish Network relationships in accordance with established Polices and Procedures.

Specific Job Duties

The duties of the Sales Executive include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conform to all Sales Policies and Procedures for the Sales Department.
  • Adopt and fully adhere to the Sales Motion Seven Step Selling program.
  • Prospecting – establish an active lead networking group, personal customer relationships and cold calls. Process Company provided leads in accordance with Company policy including prompt follow up and internal documentation.
  • Proposing – follow the sales motion, use the sales motion tracking form and properly prepare a customized project overview for each prospect before submitting a proposal.
  • Proposals – obtain the right price by presenting price correctly and cost justifying the purchase. Properly forecast each quote in Tigerpaw and update the status on all quotes monthly.
  • Sales Results: New System Sales - $50,000 minimum per month in new system sales
  • Engage the Branch Sales Manager in assisting to strategize and close sales as needed.
  • Lost Sales Report – determine why we failed to obtain the sale and analyze the reasons with the Branch Sales Manager.
  • Represent the Company with the utmost professionalism including attire, ethics and conduct.
  • Scope of Work – prepare and submit to the Branch Sales Manager a fully completed Scope of Work with each new job package.
  • Assist with resolving your customers' complaints or issues in a timely manner.
  • Update and manage a sales pipeline and forecast report on a regular basis.
  • Record daily all prospecting, proposing and customer/prospect contact in the Tigerpaw database.
  • Submit monthly updates to the lead referral administrator for all Company supplied leads.
  • Submit monthly commission statements that are accurate and complete to the Branch Sales Manager on a timely basis.
  • Prepare for, attend and actively participate in weekly sales meetings with the Branch Sales Team.
  • Actively participate in product training and identify additional training needs.
  • Establish your personal and financial goals. Create specific plans for goal attainment with the input and assistance of the Branch Sales Manager and evaluate progress regularly during Performance Management reviews with the Branch Sales Manager.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies & Procedures including the Employee Handbook and enforce all policies within the Branch Sales Department.
  • Any additional duties, which may be assigned by the Branch Sales Manager.
